According to a United Nations study, India’s GDP takes a 3% hit every year due to road accidents.
‘Road Accidents in India-2016’ a report from Ministry of Road Transport & Highways has revealed that 1,50,785People were killed due to Road Accidents in 2016 in India.

Road Accidents cause irreparable Personal, Social, Economic and Industry loss to the Nation.

The major cause of Road accidents and fatalities are Driver’s fault which attribute to approx.. 84% of total accidents and 80% of total deaths… The driving nature of drivers can be regulated by educating them for defensive driving and penalizing for default.

The cost of fatal accidents are having the major effect on the economy of the country. Since the fatal accidents account for major loss, the concept of having zero fatality is being adopted in most of developed countries.
